RECYCLE BINS
BENEFITS OF RECYCLE
RECYCLE convert waste into reusable product. The impact of a simple act could be huge.

RECYCLING CONSERVES RESOURCES
As the saying goes, reduce, reuse and recycle. The demand for raw materials reduce when we collect recyclables and reuse them. Recycle helps to reduce the pressure of oil refining, mining and logging.
RECYCLING REDUCES THE NEED FOR LANDFILLS
There isn't another better way than recycle. Recycle would minimise the usage of landfills. It also helps to reduce greenhouse gas emission around the globe.
RECYCLING SAVES ENERGY
It takes less energy to convert recyclables than to produce goods from raw materials. It takes 95% less energy to recycle an aluminium can than to make a brand new one.
RECYCLING HELPS TO ALLEVIATE GLOBAL WARMING
When resources are being conserved, naturally it would curb the rise of the temperature of the planet. Less energy is required, less release of greenhouse gas.
RECYCLING SAVES MONEY AND PROMOTES GOODWILL
Using recycled materials reduce the usage of raw materials and cost of manufacturing.Consumers not only can enjoy some savings, at the same time they can feel good about purchasing environmental friendly product.

INTERESTING RECYCLING PROCESS
Recycling is the process of making use of unwanted recyclables into new products. In other words, recycling is reproducing waste into new resources. The four most common recyclables in the country are paper, plastic, metal and glass.

PAPER
Used paper is taken to a recycling plant where it is separated into different types and grades. The separated paper is then washed with soapy water to remove inks. This mixture is then combined with water to create a slurry. Adding different materials to the slurry can create different paper products.
PLASTIC
When plastic is recycled, it is sorted into different types and colours. It is also being filtered and sifted of contaminants. It will then be chopped and metled into pellets. These materials can be used to produce fleece fabrics, durable construction materials, molded furniture or insulation.
METAL
When metal is recycled, it is being chopped, heated to remove the paint coating, then heated again. After these processes, the molten metal is poured into ingots which are rolled into flat sheets and ready to be made into new metal products.
GLASS
Glass is collected and sorted according to colour. It will be washed to remove any impurities. The glass is then crushed and mxied with sand, soda ash and limestone. This mixture is then metlted and molded into new products.
